Reinforcing Eco Spindles’ commitment to sustainability, the company introduced an innovative solution to urban sustainability with the purchase of e-bikes. In the trial stage, five e-bikes equipped with recyclable material collection trailers, were distributed among the five Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) located in Colombo, Katunayake, Matara, Wadduwa and Anuradapura.

The initiative aims to reduce fuel costs and empower individuals in underserved communities to collect recyclables efficiently, additionally promoting both environmental sustainability and economic empowerment.
